A One-of-a-Kind Procedure

MyEllevate is a unique, one-of-a-kind procedure that has been developed to lift the glands and muscles of the neck and jawline area in order to achieve an improved contour.

Main Advantages of MyEllevate Neck Treatment

  • Non-surgical and minimally invasive
  • Tightens lax skin around the neck and jawline
  • Provides a smoother, more contoured neck and jawline
  • No incisions involved
  • No downtime
  • Results can last up to five years
  • Enhanced self-esteem and boosted confidence

How MyEllevate Neck Treatment Works

MyEllevate uses the ICLED® light guided suture system, which places suture thread underneath the skin through a series of small punctures. Using this suture thread, the muscles and glands are raised by “lacing” the underlying muscles and glands together. This procedure is an excellent option for younger patients (30s-40s) who want to both improve their neck and jawline, and also slow the aging process.

Background

What to Expect During the Procedure

In NYC and Santa Monica, MyEllevate is done under local anesthesia at Grossman Dermatology. Dr. Grossman will mark your skin, and treatment will begin. Eight punctures are used to weave the underlying glands and muscles. These punctures are made just below the jawline (six) and just below the ears (two).

The sutures are threaded using the light-guided rod, and are anchored at the ear punctures. They are tied in the middle area under the chin. This method keeps everything carefully in place, delivering an improved, beautifully sculpted neck and jawline. The procedure takes approximately one hour.

Recovery and Results

You can expect about 3-6 days of downtime, and you may need to wear a chin strap for a few days. Some patients have side effects such as swelling, bruising, a tight sensation, or mild dimpling in the treated area for a few days. We recommend that you avoid strenuous activities such as exercise, heavy lifting, sports, etc. for two weeks.

FAQ

How is MyEllevate different than a facelift or a neck lift?

How is MyEllevate different than a thread lift?

How is MyEllevate different than a facelift or a neck lift?

Unlike a facelift or neck lift, MyEllevate supports the underlying muscles and glands of the neck with sutures to achieve a more defined neck and jawline. A neck lift or facelift is a surgical procedure.

How is MyEllevate different than a thread lift?

Although MyEllevate uses sutures, it’s different than a thread lift because it lasts longer. Thread lifts use temporary sutures, but MyEllevate results can last up to five years. MyEllevate also utilizes a slightly different technique and offers more support.
