A Slimmer, Sleeker Appearance

At Grossman Dermatology, we’re proud to offer these exciting skin tightening treatments to patients in both NYC and Santa Monica. FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite are all radiofrequency-based treatments that are able to achieve results comparable to a surgical procedure without the associated downtime, cost, or discomfort. FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite are all excellent for tightening loose skin or excess fat in the face and neck.

FaceTite can tighten the facial skin by up to 40%. Many patients see their skin looking tighter and firmer immediately following treatment, but others see it improving over 3-6 weeks.
Results can last five years or even longer. Recovery time is very minimal; about three days.

NeckTite slims and contours the neck and jaw areas, first by removing unwanted fat from sagging skin and then tightening it up. Recovery is about 1-2 days, and results can appear anywhere from the following day, with progressing results becoming visible over the next 3-6 months. Results can last five years or even longer.

As the smallest minimally invasive radiofrequency device available, AccuTite has been developed specifically to treat very delicate, difficult-to-treat areas. True to its name, AccuTite is very accurate and precise, and has the ability to effectively address areas such as the eyelids, elbows, knees, nasolabial folds, bra fat, and hands. Results can last five years or even longer.

How the Technology Works

The probe used for FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite glides underneath and over the skin, melting fat and tightening the skin at the same time. It works by using radiofrequency heat energy to kickstart the body’s natural repair response for the underlying tissues, which firms up the actual support structure of the skin. Performed in both locations (NYC and Santa Monica), skin tightening procedures such as the ones mentioned above, can leave you with tighter and more radiant skin.

Am I a Candidate?

If you’re in or around NYC or Santa Monica, AccuTite, FaceTite, or NeckTite may be the ideal procedure for you to assist in firming and tightening your facial area. Nearly anyone interested in non-surgical skin tightening and contouring for their face and/or neck is a potential candidate, and if you have wrinkles, fine lines, sagging skin, or excess fat in your lower face and neck, then chances are it will work beautifully for you. During your consultation with Dr. Grossman, she will discuss your treatment goals, medical history, and current state of health to confirm that you qualify for these treatments. If she feels another treatment is better suited to your needs, she will let you know, explain why, and go over that procedure.

Procedure Details

At our medical spas in NYC and Santa Monica, skin tightening with FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite works by using handheld devices that have both an internal and external probe. Your skin will be cleansed, numbed, marked to serve as a guide, and sterilized. After this, a needle will be used to create access points for both the local anesthesia and the probe to enter. This probe works on both the inside of the skin and the outside at the same time, heating both the inner and outer layers of the skin. This causes the tissues to contract, thereby jump-starting the body’s natural collagen production. Heat is also delivered to the fat cells in the area, causing them to rupture and die. As the probe affects both the skin and fat cells, patients achieve visibly tighter and more youthful-looking skin. Futhermore, one of the very best things about FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite is that there’s no scarring because there are no scalpels. While there are tiny incisions made for the probe to enter, they are so small that they heal on their own, without the need for any stitches.

What to Expect Afterward

Depending on the area you had treated, we may wrap the area with compression bandages to help with swelling for about a week or so. Although downtime is fairly minimal after FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite, there are some common side effects.

These include swelling, tenderness, bruising, numbness, and itchiness in the treated areas, and these usually subside within the first week. Some patients also experience uneven skin texture which can last 2-3 weeks.

Once the swelling has gone down (usually after about one week), results will become apparent. Because of the stimulated collagen growth, results will continue to progress over the next six months.

How many treatments will I need?

In most cases, only one treatment is needed for patients to see significant improvements. Because it can take time for the body’s healing process to dramatically impact the skin’s appearance, patients should expect to see the results of their treatment in the first few months following a procedure, with the final results appearing up to twelve months after the initial treatment.

Are these procedures safe?

The FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite technology have each been designed with patient safety in mind and have numerous safeguards in place. The platform these procedures use makes it incredibly easy for your specialist to monitor just the right level of radiofrequency heat as the procedure is performed. Furthermore, each of these procedures comes from InMode, an award-winning aesthetic technology company that is well-known for its safety and efficacy.

What other procedures work well with FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite?

Dr. Grossman is very well-known for her ability to combine procedures to get the best outcome. To help provide patients with comprehensive results, Dr. Grossman can combine these treatments with other skin tightening services including Fractora™ and Morpheus8™.

What is the best age to undergo these FaceTite, AccuTite, or NeckTite?

These procedures are an excellent option for adults of any age, as it can address issues that even younger patients worry about, such as under-the-chin fullness. However, most FaceTite, AccuTite, and NeckTite patients are middle-aged men and women who want to improve the signs of aging, but aren’t yet ready for surgery such as a facelift. These procedures are also effective for older patients who have already had a facelift and want to maintain their results without having to undergo a “do-over” surgery.
