What Is Fat Banking?

Fat banking, also known as adipose tissue banking, is the process of collecting, processing, and cryogenically storing fat and stem cells for future use. During a procedure such as liposuction, a small portion of your adipose tissue is collected and sent to Celebration Stem Cell Centre, where it’s carefully processed and stored for long-term preservation.

During your scheduled procedure, a Celebration Collection Kit is used to gather a small portion of your fat tissue. This requires no changes to your planned treatment.

Shipment

Your sample is packaged in a temperature-stable medical transport kit and shipped overnight to the CSCC facility, where real-time tracking ensures safe arrival.

Processing

Upon receipt, your sample undergoes a thorough assessment of cell count and quality. It’s then processed in CSCC’s FDA-registered, AABB-compliant laboratory, equipped with Class 6 and 7 clean rooms for maximum sterility and cell viability.

Cryopreservation

Using computer-controlled freezing technology, your tissue is cooled to cryogenic temperatures and stored in specially designed cryo-bags. Your cells remain viable and available for future use whenever needed.
